It is the deepest layer of the fat (the fat that you cannot grab or see) that has the health risks. This is because those cells give off hormones that can harm your health. They are located around your organs in the abdominal cavity and that fact does not help. As an example, fat that is next to the liver will drain into it and cause you to have a fatty liver.

Take a tape measure and wrap it around your waste around your navel. For women, a measurement of thirty five inches or more and for men, a measurement of forty inches or more is considered unhealthy.

For weight loss, it is important that you exercise, no matter how you stack it. Aerobic exercise is your best bet. Take note that you will not be able to spot burn that belly fat. However, it has a tendency to burn off when you do your exercises frequently.
